Chiropractic, acupuncture, massage, decompression, and shockwave are different answers to different findings. A joint that has stopped moving needs an adjustment. A disc pressing on a nerve root may need decompression, where a rotary adjustment would be too aggressive. A tendon that has failed to heal for eight months is a shockwave question. Muscle that keeps pulling a corrected joint back out of position is a soft tissue question. Treating all of those the same way is how people end up on a twenty-visit plan that never quite works.
So the sequence at this clinic is exam first, plan second. You will be told what was found, which of these services it points to, and roughly how long it should take before you decide anything. Nobody here sells a visit package before a doctor has put hands on you.
On site at 699 South Carter Road, Suite 5: chiropractic, acupuncture, massage, spinal decompression, and shockwave, with three doctors rotating so you are not stuck if one is in treatment.
